During the game the players are in immediate proximity to each other. For responding quickly to the opponent’s attacks the player should be concentrated on the game to the maximum. Speed of the game in squash is three times higher than in tennis one. Therefore the spending of calories during playing the squash is much higher. So that in one hour of playing squash, a player may expend approximately 1500 calories. 

Squash is a rapid game and it is much more emotional than other similar kinds of sport. Therefore the winner can be determined quite quickly and in one hour you can play several matches.

Where to play squash

The game of squash usually takes place in a special enclosed area - on the squash court. The walls are marked by special lines and there is a wooden floor.

There are 4 squash courts in “Grand Prix” which fully comply with international standards. The «McWil» company, which produces the squash courts, is accredited by the International Squash Federation, and participates actively in organization of international tournaments PSA (Professional Squash Association).
